  • Xanga is getting really slow....

Ok, I bet like no one is on xanga right now, so I'm just gonna blog a bit quick then others. Ok, so if you went to Jonathan Chan's Social Justive forum today in the English Chapel, which no one from xanga went to, he talked about several things, such as human trafficking and muddy water in Africa. He talked about several organizations dedicated to these kinds of things. Such as the Freeze Project, where people freeze all of the sudden and stay motionless for 5 minutes. Then they unfreeze and hand out fliers talking to people about human trafficking. Did you know that 27 MILLION people are slaves to human trafficking?? That's pretty big. Here's a good site to look at:

Ok, so this was pretty short and yeah.

  • The Test...

Alright, so I had this xanga for only close to a week now, and I was reading this one blog about how people at this one church are like really losing faith on God. I made me remember of about 2 years ago when the Youth Service was being held in the Family Room for a couple weeks led by Jonathan.

Do you remember that he had said that life was a test? How he used his friend as an example because his friend was so hyped on God and he applied to a college he wanted to go to since high school and they denied him. Then he lost all faith in God. I still remember it so much that I even remember that I sat in the back right next to I think was it Adrian Sun. Doesn't it hit you that God does not tempt us, but puts us in lines of tests to prove our faith to him and the world? Recently, I've been going through alot of emotion and obstacles that sometimes increased my faith in the Lord and sometimes deminished it to a speck.

I think God IS in fact testing us, but remember, he doesn't tempt you, Satan does. It's probably going to be hard to know what is from who, but have faith in him!!

I think this should link to Dennis' message a couple weeks ago about the Crossroads, how we're at the fork that leads to a wider path where the world goes through an the narrow path where Christians walk into, I think he got it from Matthew: 7:13-14. It's our decision, a test, to see if we're truly in love with God. Does it matter if we throw everything away for him? It is. Remember Matthew 19: 17-24? How that rich young man didn't want to give up all his wealth just so he can have life in heaven?? Worldly obsessions are apart of the obstacles that stand in our narrow path towards Christ.

Life isn't easy to live, for many, they give into temptation of the worldly things, such as pornography. It destroys our mind and corrupts our thought and focus on Christ. But for some Christians, I don't say all Christians because there are thousands of false Christians out in the world speaking blasphemy and hypocrisy. Actually, only few Christians walk down the narrow path filled of eternal life. Like Jesus says, only few find it, while many others find the wider road.

I think about this, can you figure out if your living the right life? God has made physical life a test to see if we are ready to live the spiritual life in heaven. Entering the narrow road is saying you are ready to take the test, but if you walk the wider road, you are saying you don't care and want to live your life the want to, to give into pleasures of the world that will one day be erased and weeded throughout the Vineyard of Christ. Matthew 13: 24-30.

Pray to the Lord, he will answer you, in ways you cannot even imagine.

  • All we can do is pray now...

I was just practicing with the RRR for our FST at Lost Altos, and I saw several airplanes carrying water to put out the flames fly over our school. I saw the wind move the smoke over us. All I could do is watch the smoke smother the sky and block the sun away. It wasn't a heart warming sight, think of how many people had lost homes, and maybe even their own lives. Happiness was covered in despair by the lost.
As we finished practicing, we began to board our buses, and as I boarded the bus, I saw the smoke reach out like a snake hunting for its prey. As we began to leave Rowland High School, I saw the waves of smoke chase after us.

The next afternoon, I watch the news the entire time, and I see a child talking to the camera saying he lost all his toys and that he used to play with them the day before and he said now he doesn't have anymore. It hit me so badly that we're gonna lose things in our lifes one day just like this. Its hard for me to write this, because it worries me that this could as well happen to all of us.

Please Pray for everyone who had lost their homes. Some of our friends had to leave their home because of the flames. Some friends I have met this year and friends I have known my whole life. Please, don't ignore the fact we're in a state of need more then ever. Only God can help us through this tough time. Don't forget to pray...

  • Unbelievable article about a reincarnated believed Buddha....

This is an AOL news article I saw today and I decided to copy it all down and show you guys :] dicuss about it!! I really think this is all bogus, but I want to hear what you think about it:

RATANPUR, Nepal (Nov. 12) - The teenage boy revered by many as a reincarnation of Buddha sat silently in the jungle as he blessed his devotees Wednesday with a light tap on the head, which they consider the touch of the divine.
His face was still, his long hair spilled over his white robe, and he never said a word.
The followers of Ram Bahadur Bamjan, 18, believe he has been meditating without food and water since he was first spotted in the jungles of southern Nepal in 2005, when believers say he spent months without moving, sitting with his eyes closed beneath a tree.
Bamjan re-emerged this week to meet his followers, who have come by the thousands to see him in the jungles of Ratanpur, about 100 miles south of Katmandu.
"I got a chance to see God today," Bishnu Maya Khadka, a housewife, said after receiving Bamjan's blessing Wednesday. "They say he is Buddha, but for me he is just God."
Bamjan was expected to address his followers on Nov. 18 and then retreat again into the jungle for meditation, said Kamal Tamang, a Buddhist priest.
Bamjan received the pilgrims from atop a podium covered in yellow cloth and placed before a massive tree. He looked healthy and strong and showed no signs of starvation or dehydration.
Buddhism, which has about 325 million followers, mostly in Asia, teaches that every soul is reincarnated after death in another bodily form.
But several Buddhist scholars have been skeptical of the claims that Bamjan is a reincarnation of Siddhartha Gautama, who was born in southwestern Nepal roughly 2,500 years ago and became revered as the Buddha, or Enlightened One.
"Being Buddha means the last birth and the highest level that can be achieved. There can be no reincarnation of Buddha, even though Buddhists believe in life after death," said Rakesh, a Buddhist scholar in Katmandu who goes by only one name.
"Meditating without food does not prove that he is the reincarnation of Buddha," said Min Bahadur Shakya of the Nagarjuna Institute of Exact Methods, a Buddhist research center in Katmandu. "There is much study needed to be done."
Bamjan has never addressed the subject in any of his speeches.
The devotees who have flocked to visit him have fewer doubts. Colorful prayer flags fluttered and incense filled the air Wednesday as the pilgrims silently approached Bamjan, who was surrounded by a line of Buddhist monks.
"I have no doubt in my mind he is a god," said Meg Bahadur Lama, a local farmer. "He has been meditating without food and water and no human can achieve such a feat. I used to hear about such miracles in the past but now I got to see one."

I seriously don't believe this, but that is why we Christians have to take action and stand up for Christ. Isn't that right?? Isn't that why we're here? Isn't that why we are considered to be the generation to see Christ come back?? We have to be ready soon right??
